How to Check the Result
Lottery ticket holders are advised to verify their ticket numbers against the official results released through the Kerala Government Gazette. Matching the number with a result reported by a news website alone is not sufficient for claiming the prize. Winners are advised to preserve the original ticket safely until the claim process is completed.
Prize Claim Rules
According to the Kerala State Lotteries Department’s procedure, winners have to submit their prize claims within 30 days from the date of the draw.
For the first and second prizes, the winning ticket has to be surrendered either directly or through insured registered post to the Director of State Lotteries.
Claims can also be submitted through designated nationalised, scheduled, state or district cooperative banks, along with the required documents.
Winners are required to provide valid identification documents, such as an Aadhaar card or PAN card, while submitting their claims. The original ticket is an important document in the process, so winners should avoid damaging, altering or losing it.
The BT-72 result comes a week after the previous Bhagyathara draw, BT-71, which was held on September 14. The Kerala lottery department continues to conduct weekly draws under different lottery series, giving ticket holders multiple opportunities to participate in state-run lottery schemes.
With the BT-72 draw now complete, ticket holders should verify their numbers against the official result and follow the prescribed claim procedure if they have won a prize.
